Capitol Market’s annual fundraiser, Market Mixer, will be held on Oct. 7 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Capitol Market in downtown Charleston!

It is an amazing evening that showcases why Capitol Market is a true gem in our capital city. Proceeds benefit Capitol Market and help us sustain our historic property and continue our mission of supporting small businesses, lifting up local farmers, and creating a community space for all. There will be drinks flowing, hors d’oeuvres from the culinary students from Carver Career & Technical Center, live music, Market vendors giving away samples and doing demonstrations, and most importantly – a chance for you to give back to a non-profit that is deeply invested in our city and state.

Tickets are $100 ($70 is tax-deductible) per person until Oct. 1. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $150 per person.

Market Monster Mash 2026

Join us for a spooktacular evening of family fun at Capitol Market!

Celebrate Halloween with a safe, family-friendly evening of trick-or-treating at Capitol Market! Our vendors and community partners will be handing out candy and treats in the outdoor market, creating a festive experience for children of all ages. Put on your favorite costume and enjoy an evening filled with Halloween fun.

TICKETS (tickets will be released on Sept. 2)

Admission is FREE, but registration is required. There will be 200 tickets released for each time slot: 6:30-7:15 and 7:30-8:15. Tickets are only required for children who will be trick-or-treating. Parents and other accompanying adults do not need a ticket.

What to Expect

Trick-or-Treating: Visit participating Capitol Market vendors and community partners for candy and treats.

Costumes Encouraged: Come dressed in your Halloween best!

For the Adults: Enjoy libations available for purchase from the Wine Shop and Soho’s while the kids fill their candy bags.

Food & Entertainment: Grab dinner from Soho’s after trick-or-treating.
