Ingredients (makes 5–6 servings):
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 3 apples, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup Chef Paul’s Apple Butter
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Optional: powdered sugar for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400ºF. Roll out puff pastry on a baking sheet.
- Spread Chef Paul’s Apple Butter over the center, leaving a 1” border.
- Layer apple slices on top. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Fold pastry edges over apples and brush edges with egg wash.
- Drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve warm.
