Ingredients
- 3 lbs boneless beef round roast
- 1 tbsp black pepper, ground
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper, crushed
- 6 cups hot water
- 4 cubes beef bouillon
- 24 slider buns
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup spicy hot giardiniera
Instructions
- Rub the beef with all the above spices.
- Sear in a hot skillet until golden brown.
- Add water & bouillon.
- Cover with foil.
- Roast in a 325-degree oven until fork tender.
- Let rest in liquid for at least one hour.
- Shred & serve on toasted slider buns.
- Top with homemade giardiniera.
